8M: FEPUBA inaugura un Banco Rojo en su nueva sede
En el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer que se conmemora el 8 de marzo, la Federación de Entidades Profesionales Universitarias de la Provincia de Buenos Aires dará lugar a la inauguración de un Banco Rojo en su nueva sede, en adhesión a la campaña internacional que instauró este objeto como símbolo mundial de la lucha contra la violencia de género y los femicidios.
Según la escribana Mirta Negrelli, secretaria general de FEPUBA, “ésta es una forma de ratificar nuestro compromiso en la erradicación de las desigualdades que son producto de la violencia hacia las mujeres. Esto es posible gracias al trabajo de nuestra Comisión de Género, y el apoyo de cada una de las instituciones que conforman la Federación. Los profesionales universitarios de la provincia debemos bregar siempre por una sociedad más inclusiva e igualitaria”.
El Banco Rojo que inaugurará FEPUBA fue confeccionado por la cooperativa Creando Conciencia, que elabora mobiliario con material reciclado
La actividad se enmarca entre las distintas iniciativas programadas por la Federación para conmemorar el 8M, durante el transcurso del mes. La misma tendrá lugar el próximo jueves 7 de marzo a las 10 hs. en la Sede de FEPUBA, sita en calle 53 N° 416 (3 y 4), de la ciudad de La Plata.
